During gaming and benchmarks.
Ok :D
Thanksss!!!!
The screws around the GPU core that make up the main screws for the cooling block should only go in so far, but again make sure the screws are tight. And I sure hope u ensured to align any cooling pads that were on the VRAM, or the block will never set properly along the Core and VRAM as it should.
Ok, I'll keep that in mind. :D
Yep the screws are tight. When I removed the cooler there were no thermal pads on the VRAM only the heat sink that cools the core.
Ever since I bought it, the graphics card runs at 80ºC on load. Now that I cleaned it (gpu is one year old now) and with the extra fans that I bought for the case, the temperatures are at 76º to 78ºC and sometimes 80ºC.
Does it feel like hot air at the rear of the PC after it's been running a while?
Seem a bit high, might be due to your case. However, it's more important that it's stable and not just continuously increasing. It can still cope fine at that temperture.
My case is a Thermaltake V4, I added a 120mm fan in the front and another 120mm on the top.
Yes but not like before, now with the extra fans that air is dissipated a bit more.
Yep the temperatures are stable, I just finished a play sesion and checked the temperatures and the range was from 75º to 78ºC
Yeah... maybe thats the problem x.x
Thanksss man!!
is it the standard single fan cooler near the end of the card or the ACX 2.0 cooler?
Ok, thanks!! :D
I get about 58-60 deg C on load on my MSI 970 4G gaming.
But that on my vanilla air-flow setup, i.e. only 1 intake and 1 exhaust fan in the chassis.
But if I add all of my 120mm fans(total 7
Just having fans is only 50% part of the solution, you've gotta have or ensure that the air flow is proper, like if 3 fans are pulling in then 3 fans should push out. Of course this is what I follow, but having a fan or two facing directly on your gfx card should also help. I my case I usually have one 120mm fan blowing directly on the gfx card.
