Steelseries SIberia 150 USB connection problems
I got this headset the other day as a christmas preasant, it was working fine until i loaded up gta v or tf2, it keeps connecting then disconnecting itself very abruptly, around every 2 seconds, its impssible to play these games with the headset. It works fine for other games, however. Help would be great :(

*UPDATE AS OF AUGUST 2017*

I just want to say thankyou to everyone that has taken time to read and add to this thread in order to help others fix this common issue, it seems lots of people have this problem and i dont think even steelseries know whats up with the headset, so thanks once again to everyone that contributed to this post <3

Try another USB port prior to game launch.
If Desktop try a rear USB 2.0 port.

Hi there. I have the same headset, and am experiencing the exact same issue. I'm on Windows 7. Uninstalling and reinstalling the SteelSeries drivers doesn't help. Any insight?

Having the same problem with Helldivers and this headset. It would seem to me that it's the headset not being made properly or programed right. What is odd is it stays connected to listen to anything that's not associated with steam; itunes VLC etc.

If the device is new, return it back to place of purchase.
Even if was a gift, you have the receipt, correct?

♥♥♥♥ man.. i'm having the exactly same issues. especially after i turn on STEELSERIES ENGINE 3.. it always happen. however, it could be fixed by unplugging the usb cable, and i restart dota2. it's not only happen in my game, it happen in my skype, so i also restart my skype. and i plugged it in again, set my audio in dota, and yeah he's healed.
dunno why, even the issue happen, the led still on.
anyone can help?
i have number 2 issues, i want my headset to be monitored, so i turned on 'listening to this device' in my audio settings in windows7. but the terrible feedback sound appear....

i search for the issues, and i found an HP product page. and there said :
A feedback sound may be heard when the "Listen to this device" option is selected. The noise occurs when a microphone or earphone is not connected to the system.
To resolve this issue, make sure a microphone is attached to the system before enabling the Listen to this device function. Alternately, this issue can be resolved by disabling the Listen to this device option.

damnit.. what happen???

i hope steelsteries staff read it.
