Not sure if I killed my GPU or why it's screwing me
But it's showing weird stuff in windows safe mode like green colored stuff in middle of screen, while in normal mode it won't boot at all. It's GPU, atm im ussing same screen, same cable, same PCI port in same motherboard with same components but different graphics card (Gigabyte GTX 460 right now). The one that's causing me problems is Asus's R9 270.

For full specs please check my profile. I'm 100% positive this is not WIndows/driver releated problem. Anyone ever fixed such problem? Or is my baby dead? It was overclocked to recommended levels by experts and never reached extreme temps. Thx for suggetsions, I don't mind doing DIYs as I don't have warrenty so I can't ♥♥♥♥ up. I can just try to fix it.

Overclocking doesn't void the warranty of a graphics card on its own. You will, however, have lost your warranty on a graphics card if you installed a custom BIOS to it or removed the cooler.

It's possible that that you received a faulty GPU, there's always a small chance of getting faulty components out of the box. It might be worth it to contact ASUS for a refund or replacement.

What monitor are you using? Are you by any chance using a DVI to VGA adapter?

Colour tints of either red, yellow, or green (in this case) are normally cause by analog signals.

If your monitor supports - DVI, HDMI, or DisplayPort use them.

If your monitor only supports VGA - check the cable and adapter. 9 out of 10 times it will be the adapter breaking. This is the first place you should check!

If no luck...

Under Safe-Mode, search for "Device Manager", check under "Display adapters" and "Monitors". Ensure they are correct. At the top menu bar, also click "View" > "Show hidden devices" to make sure others aren't also listed there.

Consider uninstalling them - and downloading/installing the latest stable verison drivers for both the monitor and graphics card.
DVI cable no adapters, AOC monitor (model listed on my profile). it worked fine for over a year. I have no warrenty stuff anymore so as I said I don't care if I destroy it. It's worth trying if there's a chance to fix it.

If it's DVI - then it's digital signal, so that should be fine.

Ensure the graphics card is positioned flat against the motherboard.

Also, you need to connect the PCI-E 12V Cables from the PSU (Power Supply Unit) of your PC to the top-rear ports to give that graphics card the extra juice it requires to run. You haven't missed these out by any chance? The cables are black or yellow, with black ends (6/8 pins) and normally have PCI-E printed on them. They can only clip in one way around.

If you have no warranty, then buy a new video card.

How old is your GPU?
All u need is the Serial/Part # for warranty really.
You can check this online via the brand maker's website. Most hardware of that kind have 3 year warranty, some models have longer warranty even.

All this thread and I don't see anything about what the issues are?
Just something about performance.
You switching NVIDIA to AMD GPU or vice versa, run DDU under safe mode after u uninstall your driver for GPU and reboot. Then do a Custom>Clean Install of the latest driver from either Geforce.com or AMD.com
Very young. Like a year and a half. I don't have warrenty anymore because I lost it so don't refer to it anymore cuz it's gone for good. It worked for over a year without any problems, and I know and used DDU many, many times. I will try what other people said when I find ♥♥♥♥♥
There is no "lost warranty"
U go to the maker site and issue an RMA, it's that simple. By giving them the serial# they can tell where it was purchased and when.

Seriously, there is nothing to do, if the GPU doesn't work, RMA it to the maker or replace it with another.
i will replace it anyway, but im gonna wait for newer generation. thx for replies anyway. i guess im stuck with crappy 460 with 768 MB of memory for this year.
RMA the card and get it replaced > use that til NVIDIA Pascal comes out

I had the same with my gigabyte r9 290 and I found an bios update from gigabyte and it fixed the problem.
Check with Asus for this
Add
ASUS GPU Tweak

"If you happen to own an ASUS video card you can also check the current version of your video card’s BIOS. If you're on an older BIOS version, you can perform a BIOS update using GPU Tweak. This will keep your video card on the latest and greatest BIOS from ASUS"

Sounds promising. Will try.
