What OS?
What was the previous/old GPU card?
Which drivers are u trying?

Fallout4 isn't going to run well on an R7 either though.

- Are you trying to download the drivers from the AMD website or are using using the included CD (if your R7 came with one)?

- What was your old graphics card and did you uninstall the drivers for it?

The issue isn't the "R7", it's the "240". 260X, 265, or 370 will run it well enough at low to medium settings (all of them R7). The 240, though, is not a gaming card at all. @Fruity Doubt you'll be happy with the framerate even if you get the new drivers installed successfully.

As others noted, need to make sure your old drivers are uninstalled before installing the new ones (if your old card was a different model).

In all honesty; the entire R7 200 and 300 series aren't that good.
You will want an R9 GPU model for game like Fallout4; such as 280 or 380

theres an ultra low graphics mod that might help, it lowers all graphics settings below the standard low quality.

As I said, the 240 is a very different card from the 260X. In all honesty: I own and use a 260X, so I'm fully aware of how good it is. But, not really interested in starting a pissing match.

Rofl, thanks for the answers :D I think I figured it out, it may have been installing it to my external hard drive because thats got the space. Im gonna go out and get a cheap hard drive to see if that'll fix it.
