question about SLI Bridging
hello. I want to upgrade to two graphics cards. right now, i have this : EVGA GeForce GTX 970 SC GAMING ACX 2.0. can i bridge this with a EVGA GeForce GTX 970 FTW+ GAMING ACX 2.0+? they're both from the 970 family. If so, would i have to do anything special in setup? obviously i would want the second option (the FTW) to be my primary GPU, but besudes that, would this work? or do the cards need to be identicial?

thanks for the help guys :D

the link leads to a broken page. I already checked the FAQ. I found that i can't use two different GPU's, but i couldnt find if two cards from inside the same family, but different clocks, would work.

When the two can work together both cards run at the lower specs of the slower card.

With a 970 you dont need to do SLI, just get a 980Ti and sell the 970, costs about the same as another 970, but you get more VRAM and less problems.
