Both are fairly cheap and will work fine with your i5. They are DDR4 motherboards by the way.

If you want a DDR3 board:

Just to clarify, do you have the i5 6600 or 6600k?

If its the 6600k you have:

DDR3L is DDR3 low voltage model.

DDR3L is essentialy a lower voltage DDR3. If you are getting a DDR3 motherboard, make sure you buy DDR3L memory.

Though, if you are getting Skylake, might as well go with the newer DDR4. It's not that much more expensive and the motherboards are priced the same as the DDR3L ones.

so cant i use normal ddr3 with i5 6600?

If it's non-K version Skylake then you can go with B150 motherboard since you are not gone overclock anyway.
This is good micro-ATX B150 motherboard with DDR4 RAM. Since you are gone go with Skylake anyway it's kinda pointless to use DDR3:

No, its best not to as it will eventually damage the IMC (integrated memory controller) on the CPU. Intel state to use DDR3 memory that is no higher than 1.35v.

Either way you'll have to buy a new set of memory. DDR3L is only slightly cheaper than DDR4, so if price isn't a concern, the newer DDR4 would be better in the long run.

EDIT: Do you have the i5 6600 or the i5 6600k?

Then the B150 board and RAM I linked are fine.

Get a i5-4690k, it's only $10 more.

Overclocking isnt an issue, when you can just press a button on the mobo to overclock nowadays. It's a lot better value.

That was what I meant to say, although motherboard manufacturers have said DDR3 will work, it can damage the IMC and Intel does state that only DDR3L should be used.
