So how do we get around forced Windows 10 upgrades on Windows 7 and 8.1 devices?

With a few sources reporting that Microsoft has removed the option to opt out of Windows 10 upgrades, we need to figure out how to get around this. Uninstalling the KB3035583 update, hiding it, and disabing automatic updates will become useless now because everyone expects Microsoft to replace that update with a newer version anyway. What we will see is what will look like a large normal security patch, but will actually be an automatic Windows 10 upgrade in disguise. Then Microsoft will remove the option to rollback to the previous version of Windows. Of course we all have PCs and tablets with Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 pre-installed, but Windows 10 will worsen the computing experience in some cases due to driver and compatibility issues. I have an old Windows 7 HP desktop (former gaming rig) which I don't intend to upgrade because Windows 10 drops Windows Media Center and I want to keep it as a multimedia PC for my parents to use. I have a Dell Venue Pro 8 tablet with Windows 8.1 pre-installed; I tried Windows 10 on it before and it did not play fair with the device since the tablet lost the ability to unlock the camera during standby mode and performance was sluggish. My gaming PC has both Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 installed in dual-boot configuration and I intend to keep it that way. There are a few programs and games, especially SecuROM games, which have compatibility issues with Windows 10 and it's stupid and pointless to have two copies of the same Windows version on one PC, even if one of them is the Pro version. And yes, I keep Windows 8.1 as a backup OS in case Windows 10 fouls up. So is it possible to avoid such a move by Microsoft to sneak Windows 10 upgrades on certain devices? I'm sure this will cause a lot of anger and stir since a lot of businesses rely on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 for system operations.

There is no problem if you have an older laptop with Windows 7 just do a clean installation of the operating system in offline, disable automatic download and install updates and begin to update the system and blocking 14 updates + simple tweak the registry - you will get a clean W7 without spyware and nagware

How does "pre-install" mean the same thing as "forced update" to you?

A pre-install is just that... putting the files on your hard drive. It doesn't force you to do anything.

There is no way that Microsoft will hide a full OS upgrade behind a normal looking security patch. The complaints they would get would be astronomical.

it forced use internet traffic, forced use place on HDD, it make some problem with NTFS ($:Reparse: and security permissions) and this pre-load NOT work anyway - you still will use Media Creation Tool - M$ forced users to upgrade to W10, but still can't make it work right.
