What's your experience with the Razer Deathadder?
I've been through 4 of these damn mice in a month. I got the Razer Deathadder Chroma from Best Buy last month and loved it, unitl a week later when the middle mouse button broke.

I exchanged it at Best Buy to discover that my second mouse had a broken right mouse button, so exchanged it again at Best Buy to have the same thing happen. Finally I said screw it and stopped replacing them from Best Buy completely and bought one from Amazon a few days ago, which worked for a while before the left mouse button became super loose yesterday.

Is this just a really unlucky sequence of events or have you guys experienced this with your Razer mice as well? I'm just not sure if I should exchange this mouse to get a 5th one if they are all made this poorly.

I am currently using the Razer Deathadder Chroma now, have had it since March. The one I had before that was a Deathadder I bought new in Fall 2006, that one died in March, prompting the new one. So I managed to get what 9 years of game play out of that one before it died. I ordered mine through Newegg along with a new Razer Black Widow Ultimate 2014 Mech KB and haven't had an issue with either so far. I wonder if there are sub model variants of the mouse. Like a v.1 vs a v.2 or something, never looked at that though...

Do you think I should try to exchange it one more time or just deal with this one until it maybe breaks then get a replacement with the warranty? It's a tough situation, because while I feel the easy way to deal with this would be to return it and buy a different mouse, I keep thinking about how comfortable the Deathadder is and how good it feels.

That's your call for sure. The mouse is comfortable so far I've enjoyed it. I can stretch out my hand and fingers don't feel cramped using it. I can play 6-8 hours at a time and not get cramps or tired. Five mice though...man Razer might just not like you for some reason....I know there are several other Razer and Logitech choices that many would recommend. I just don't want a short mouse where I have to keep my fingers bent in a fingertip grip...i'd get wore out for sure, hate that crap.
Let me ask, as this may be by design, does your Deathadder's mouse button's feel loose, and can they be "bent" up? This new one I got the other day seems like it might break soon, since the left mouse button can bend up and down and generally feels loose while the right mouse button feels rock solid in place.
The wheel seems to fit correctly and feels snug. I honestly don't use the wheel that much though myself. I have noticed the left index finger button isn't a stiff as the right click, now that you mention it. The older one was the same ya....

Hmm.... My current one might not be broken then since it isn't nearly as loose as the other two I had, and the middle mouse button is fine compared to the first one I had. I'll see if it lasts me the next month or so and if it does then i'll keep it. Thanks for the help.
