3060Ti, the new 1080p card?
This card is said to come packing the same GA104 GPU as the RTX 3070, but with a few snips here and there. More specifically the key specs of the purported RTX 3060 Ti are; 4,864 CUDA cores, 152 Tensor Cores, 38 RT cores, 8GB of GDDR6 on a 256-bit bus, and a TDP of between 180 and 200W.

Is the 3060Ti the new 1080p card?

Why would you want to game in 1080p unless you are a pro FPS gamer who is only concerned with fps?

I think, for RTX 3060 Ti we can expect at least the same 1725 MHz boost clock rate as for RTX 3070. This equals to16.8 TFLOPS of theoretical performance.

Probably because this is the only resolution to get acceptable FPS in all games with max or near to max settings?

maybe the new 'basic' will be 1080p and the new mainstream is 1440p. maybe AMD and nvidia are releasing their gpus to correspond to the new needs.

in the philippines, i now see more 1080p displays in stores, homes, offices, and internet cafes compared to the past years/decade where 720p is very common.

Why are you repeating what I just said???? FPS = first person shooter fps = frames per second.

Do you realise thst you need to have high enough FPS (frames oer second) in ALL games, not only in FPS (first person shooters)?
And the meaning of this "high enough" quantity is different for different people? As for me, I doubt RTX 2060 Ti will have enough power for FullHD.

Do you consider Metro Exodus as FPS? Technically it is.

Ultra settings and raytracing without breaking the bank, haha.

I won't be surprised if we see availability issues on release but certainly hope the problem with scalpers won't be as bad as we've seen with the 3080. These are lower end products and the margin of profit isn't as high unless someone buys entire crate loads.

Wait for AMD Nvidia is not worth buying.

Well, more of a 1440p for this *upcoming* card.

a GTX 1660 Super let alone a GTX 1060 is still strong in modern titles in high to ultra settings at 1080p at 60 FPS, but unless you want like 120-144FPS or 1440p then yea.

Personally, we need better games and not better hardware xD

Nvidia don’t have any next gen mainstream cards yet.

Telling other people that ''Nvidia is not worth buying'' won't serve your purpose of advertising AMD one bit. You also need to give REASONS behind your words like Why do you think Nvidia is not worth buying. If your Logic is valid and your given info is correct (verifying with other sources on internet), only then People will take your words any seriously. Otherwise you're just WASTING your efforts and bandwidth.
