Reseat the RAM sticks, thats one possible cause if they arent inserted properly.

With that said
If the RAM is not the same brand/clocks thats also a possible cause.

He should just use the 2x8GB and leave the 4GB sticks out of it, 16GB is plenty and leaves fewer future problems to troubleshoot.

Dual Channel not being utilized because of the different RAM sticks is also a likely issue.

2x4gb + 2x8gb IS DUAL channel my friend. As long as you have them installed so the 4gb ones link together and the 8gb one link together. We've always been able to do Dual Channel this way.

What OS are you using?

What Motherboard do you have?

What are the exact models of all the RAM?

His problem is solved! i don't know what is his MB name but i know it supports upto 3200Mhz ram(i don't really remember but it most likely is x370 i think he told me!),his using windows 10 and the ram are G.Skill Trident 3000Mhz all of'em!

The problem was he seated them incorrectly he's been told that the 2x4 ram are first and the 2x8 ram second to be seated, and it worked perfectly!
