Screen too dim and changes brightness when going fullscreen
I have a desktop that is connected to a TV and after the startup the screen is dim until I go fullscreen in any app for example google chrome, when I press f11 it becomes brighter. Now even this doesn't work and my screen is just dim, can I somehow turn this off?

Ok then you will need to check two other areas where this could be controlled and perhaps is on AUTO which allows such auto dimming to occur.

NVIDIA Control Panel and Windows 10 power profile. This will show and explain what all I'm referring to.

did you reset the tv settings to default, and select a pc or gaming profile using the tvs menus?

I read through the thread, nothing seems to help

I'd try...

Factory reset the TV settings.
Disable it's ambient light sensor afterward.

Disable ability to auto dim within Win10 settings (power profile).

Disable the Auto setting Nvidia control panel > Color. Set this to nvidia manual mode.

Under nvidia control panel > screen resolution; set to RGB + FULL

While many TV offer multiple HDMI ports, usually only one of them is the higher available refresh rate and also allows for console/pc gaming mode. So try a different hdmi port on the TV as well.

After such changes, power cycle the TV and Restart your PC
