Tips for lag / frame skipping in games using AMD XTX 7900 gpu?

This is my first AMD gpu in years and Im having a lot of frame skips / micro studders when i play most games. I've tried adjusting game graphics from max settings to high and then adjusting my AMD Adrenalin settings to radeon anti-lag on, AMD fluid motion frames on, Radeon image sharpening on set to 10%, Radeon boost on at 50. Anyone got any tips?

Some games this happens in is overwatch 2, warhammer vermintide 2 and darktide.

Maybe your Monitor cant handle your gpu awesomeness, try lock fps to 60 to see any difference, i saw somebody underperform his gpu because his RAM only use voltage 1.2 , while for that speed needs 1.35 , i think his post still be around

I had an RTX 4090 and it worked fine with my monitor

Your first mistake is trying to use AMFMF, it's current implementation is garbage.

There is no reason to use AMFMF on ANY of those titles.

Anti lag and sharpness you can keep enabled, but not necessary either.

It seems no matter what settings I have enabled or disabled it makes no difference. The only problem I've seemed to be able to fix was the constant flashing on the screen when Id have amd freesync enabled playing overwatch.

did u ever experience any issues? what settings do u play on in darktide and v2?

Turn off AMFMF and all the other junk, more often than not it hurts performance.

Performance issues like these are also pretty common, the friends that have used cards like the 7900-XTX have often seen the same thing, you probably should have kept the 4090 because its overall more power efficient (especially when undervolted) and it's a better overall GPU. It's just more expensive.

did u ever experience any issues? what settings do u play on in darktide and v2?

VT2 - never, you can run that game on a potato these days, all default settings

Darktide: depends on the driver, but it has had issues in the past with AMD GPU's. It's the only game i freely admit it does not like AMD cards.
