What is your favourite desktop environment(s) and/or window manager(s) ?

I like GNOME, Enlightenment, LXDE, and Ratpoision, I'd put them in S teir. KDE, WindowMaker, and Sway are also fairly high up for me.

I just use KDE.

By default it has a similar layout to Windows 10 so it felt natural to me.

It has a couple bugs. But, nothing that really makes the experience painful.

i3 and Hyprland are interesting. I like the idea of ​​having a minimalistic de, but maybe it's just not for me to work with too many shortcuts.

KDE Plasma and Cinnamon are cool.

GNOME is a gnome.

LXQt I haven't used it much, but it seems kind of ugly.

Anyway, I am not very interested into customizing them a lot and there always will be good DEs.

If I am ever using a computer in pubic then I would use something that looks like windows XP theme in my on my desktop.... Green hills photo and everything, all the icons.

I like the stock command line myself. Blank, good to learn keep up with typing... I am not a smart person so if I work to be better, then it's far more enjoyable.

Start practicing on some some community made OS"s now, they will get into your bank, rob and beat you, try to force you to go to war for them.... so you might end up on state run crap wireless network or some wifi in some homeless shelter soon anyways that you have to tunnel everything and share connection points/nodes with everyone....
