Corsair Void RGB Elite is way too LOUD
Currently I have my PC volume on 4%, and it sounds like my PC is on at least 50%. The headset has a little knob on the left for volume, but it's only adjusting my PC volume and not the headset volume. Is there a way to adjust the headsets output specifically?

Correct drivers for what exactly? I downloaded the iCUE thing in hopes that it would fix it, but no luck. According the iCUE the firmware's up to date also.

Edit: I just tried messing around with the volume mixer and it doesn't seem to even function at all.

everything

windows takes a guess and grabs generic drivers that cover alot of different hardware

mobo mfg has specific drivers that are correct for the stuff on them

chipset, audio, lan, bt/wifi
you dont need sata unless you are using bios hardware for raid

Is your suggestion for these headphones, or just general advice? I use AMD software to keep my drivers up to date. The pair of headphones I used two days ago had no issues functioning either.

do not depend on software to keep drivers updated
they still take a guess and grab compatible drivers, not correct

is better to have the correct driver than newer incorrect one

I would visit the mofo manufacturer website and search the model # of your mobo for all the necessary updates and drivers

As far as I can tell on their website, they just direct you to download iCUE when looking under the "Downloads" section on the headset. This bs is why this will be the first and last time I go wireless.

Sometimes they package keyboard, mouse, headset drivers all together on software. Corsair, Razer, many other brands

If you also have a keyboard that you can control with icue it likely has a volume knob somewhere

icue is a corsair thing, corsair does not make the mobo, only case, psu, fans and a few other things

post a cpuz validation link
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
cpuz -> validate button -> submit button
it will open a browser, copy the url (address) and paste it here

MSI MAG X670E TOMAHAWK WIFI

update bios to latest non beta, 7E12v1E
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MAG-X670E-TOMAHAWK-WIFI/support#bios

after it updates, reset bios to defaults, then enable xmp
your ram is not running at its rated speed

and grab drivers
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MAG-X670E-TOMAHAWK-WIFI/support#driver
chipset, audio, lan

next
does the corsair icue software see the headphones?
they use a usb dongle, and needs its usb audio drivers, not using the onboard realtek

I tried using XMP probably 3-4 months ago, but I had issues with the blue screen of death. I'm not knowledgeable enough with PCs to diagnose the issue, since this was my first build.

I'll update all the drivers tomorrow, didn't realize they were outdated already. I haven't grabbed/updated the mobo drivers since first when I first built the PC.

So that's the weird part... It sees the headphones, but the software isn't picking up on the usb dongle. I tried to plug it into a bunch of different places, but haven't had any luck so far.

Edit: Thanks for the help btw. Having to use a $100 pair of headphones with my computer on 8% volume is infuriating, and inconvenient.
