What browser and adblocker?

I was testing that myself with Chrome and many adblockers simply don't work anymore, and you can tell Google detects them (even though they sort of work sometimes here and there) because the YouTube download/buffer speeds are throttled as a result of them detecting the blocker. Especially at 4K and 8K. Normally I have no issues buffering an 8K video where it never has a buffering pause issue.

Using this blocker, I no longer have such issues.

ad blockers does not work with youtube. i tried that once before and the video was blocked. ads needs to run, in order for the video to run. though that causes a lot of issues when the ads fail to run for some reason. normally however the ads stops once the video have run through once but, some kind of windows 10 specific script(it was added in a later build) loops the ad with the video. how do i disable it?

The OS don't have anything to do with it. I'm using Win10 and 11 with Chrome and Firefox. I don't get any ads in browsers using Ghostery
incorrect. it started after windows 10 forcefully updated to a new build. i am using the same browser as i used before that. only thing that have changed is the windows version.
What new build? All that there is for Win10 are security updates. Win10 is already 22H2 which is from Nov 2022

Update your browser and extensions.
Maybe try Brave web browser.

I very much am having doubts. I've gotten the updates, this is not a thing that happens on YouTube.

Again given the amount of threads and issues you make, plus the laptop you have changing manufacturer and models on nearly every thread theres a strong doubt here.

Take a video so we can look at it.

Install an ad blocker and you'll never have ads at all. No one should be enduring ads in YouTube in 2024 when there's ways to make them go away. AdBlockers are free. Grab Ublock Origin and enable all the filter lists in settings = no more youtube ads.

Sorry but no. Ad blockers do work on youtube and they have worked on youtube for years. I watch multiple youtube videos several times a day every day. I haven't seen a single ad on youtube in the past 10+ years. The do work fine. You just didn't configure it right before.

uBlock does also block all ads on youtube unless you turn it off for whatever reason. Adblockers in general work on youtube, but I don't recommend using chrome; I highly recommend firefox, but still have doubts as to this issue even happening.

People didn't seem to bite on the last thread(s), and half the time I wonder if these are fabricated or are being used to troubleshoot others peoples issues by making threads about them here, to which I'd recommend whoever's actually having the issue - if anyone is at all - they get someone that knows what they're doing.

The seemingly completely random and half the time unbelievable issues happening this frequently means something is up, and most of the time, it doesn't seem likely that the systems are producing these problems randomly, seems like it's either fabrication or user error.
Here we go again. OP with his shenanigans. Just roll back the updates or use the restore point and you'll see it won't work because it's user error.
Who knows, maybe you have to update the adblocker.

sorry for the late response and how many trolls is between our posts but, i finally had time to check what build it is running. according to dxdiag that is: 19045.
I'm still using Edge and uBlock without issue (no Youtube ads) but I realize Microsoft is going to drop Manifest v2 support at some point. I'll probably be switching to Librewolf when the time comes since my other must have extensions are available on firefox as well. I use an extension that restores the right click context menu on sites that disable it and another that adds options to download embedded videos and the like to the right click menu, comes in really handy to download videos and things from sites that don't necessarily want you downloading their content. Doesn't bypass hdcp though.
Brave browser, all you need, not sure if it works on Win 7, but it blocks youtube ads without an 3rd party adblocker.
my problem is not even in windows 7, it is in windows 10. though because of my weak cpu there is limits to how many tasks i can run at once. the amd a4 5000 is quad core 1.5 ghz cpu without hyperthreading.

You realize running an adblocker would reduce the load on a lot of places right? Especially if you block all the ad domains and tracking stuff.

Try not disabling the adblocker and use firefox with uBlock. There is no way the adblocker isn't working if you're using that combination by default settings of uBlock.

Also you change which system this is about so frequently, last time it was an "acer predator orion 9000" which is far more than capable of processing overall compared to an A4-5000. Even that CPU is very capable of youtube and adblocking especially if a 2006 equivalent CPU could play L4D.
