Who wants to play that crap anyways.
It also can't play 99% of the PC library.
That's more/less the whole point.
No one said play ONLY on an XBOX or PS.
PC has it's use, obviously, especially when it comes to doing things outside of Games.
But most of those games getting ported (like those Sony games) are generally terrible on PC. They look good and play butter smooth on the consoles though.
Don't particularly care.
Run like crap on yours perhaps because you are silly.
I'm an ex console player who switched to PC to play better versions of consoles games. Like I play FF16 that looks and runs way better than on PS5.
I'm not talking about performance. Many times the PC versions of various games like The Last of Us, Until Dawn and others have so many ridiculous annoying bugs tbat never gets fixed.
All these Sony games you all have seen come to PC Steam I had them all at release on PS4. Very rarely seen these odd bugs that many see or report about when it comes to these PC versions of said games. I can understand some people run into odd bugs or crashes or whatever due to their PC software, lack or of updates or less then ideal system specs but just bugs in general is mostly what I'm referring to. Games that played fine on PS4/PS5 have people on PC pulling their hair out in frustration.
Overall I just wish Sony and it's partners would take more care with the overall game support. So that they aren't looked at by PC Gaming Community as crap or a failure.
I have kids and a bunch of movies so a BD is a must have. I can't find any anywhere but stock will come back. I also tend to buy physical on console since PC is all digital- I don't like having all my eggs in one basket.
AMD Ryzen 7700X
Sorry to break it to you but console is fast moving to all-digital as well. I’d be very surprised if the next gen consoles even come with disc drives. Perhaps not even optional add-ons will be available next time around.
So, the PS5 Pro is sits about midway between a 3060 Ti and a 3070.
According to real life benchmarks the base ps5 has similar gaming performance to 6700 non XT and the ps5 pro is expected to be closer to 7800xt.
In its performance mode, FF XVI on the PS5 drops as low as 720p and still rarely hits 60fps, let's not pretend the PS5 doesn't fall apart when it comes to that game too, meanwhile I have a PC with a 2080 and 5800x that will happily play the game at 1080p, max settings 60fps. (with the help of DLSS of course)
Others report the game can be played on 8GB but it requires a very clean system.
The game has a free demo but it’s less vram demanding than some locations in the full game - towns in particular.
My GPU uses above 10GB at native 1080p and up to 16GB at 1440p upscaled to 4K.
