Can I do smooth 1440p gaming?

Hey all before I upgrade from my 1080 monitor to 1440p will I be able to with my build? Will my cpu bottle neck or will I be good? Thanks all

your cpu is a beast. there is certain games that you will not be able to run fully however. final fantasy 15 easily uses 17 gigabytes of ram. that was tested by me personally and i tested ram use. ram use was 17 gigabytes. performance is also game specific. older games would run well on weaker specs while newer games is more demanding. all you need to upgrade is your ram.

Yes, your specs are mostly wasted at 1080p, your GPU can get good performance at 4K/2160p

Yes, you can max pretty much anything at 1440p and even have ray tracing on with the 4080 super. I have a 4080 non-super and tried many games at those settings.

1440p is amazing.
If you use DLSS quality at 1440p the game will perform slightly better than native 1080p while looking way better.

Dude, that is a pretty new & awesome gaming PC spec.. Don't worry about who's on top, but that you'll be able to do great things with it. 2K should be a Breeze for that system, so would 4K but you need a better monitor to break the 60hz Barrier. Because the 60FPS cap is too little for modern gaming.

I have a 3080 and run 1440p with no issues staying over a 165hz on most games maxed out......cyberpunk and a few others are the only games that dont hit 165.....


and as for intel its been garbage for years now....DO NOT BUY MORE INTEL JUNK......
