sometimes saying you have much less ram than is really there
use gpuz to see gpu specs, which still sometimes gets things wrong but its much better tool than dxdiag
cpu cache has nothing to do with gpu either, thats cache on the cpu die
l1 cache is only instruction sets, nothing more
l2 is what its currently working with
l3 is stored results from previous fpu calc
no programs are directly loaded into cpu cache at all, just pieces of whats being worked with
just GPU TRENDS
options like cut and paste outside into new folder, functions for backup, stopping services, unplugging to do it yourself are not provided
GPU Cache clearing of folders
Simple turn off in a control panel reboot flip caches on/Value
Clear DirectX caches (cleanmgr).
Manually find caches folders and clear to rebuild library. NOT THE FOLDER ITSELF.
CPU caches reset just by turning computer off and on.
.dll, .cab are normally the stored.
AMD is the original maker of 64 bit
Another push by consumers out of own comfort zone by
directx accessing information from windows over bios so 64 bit operations can be done over bios 16 bit and possible confliction occurence.
DXVK, directx, vulkan, gl are forms of caches for gpu's to use from.
This is NOT a HOW TO
just GPU TRENDS
options like cut and paste outside into new folder, functions for backup, stopping services, unplugging to do it yourself are not provided
ways to have software to instruct the gpu or hardware to do things
folder cache is just that file folder cache, steam calls it gpu cache, but its not on the gpu, just image files
just like 'temporary internet files' cache web pages, just temp storage to make recalling them faster instead of downloading or decompressing them again
rebooting does not clear l1 cache, thats read only instructions sets, tells the cpu how to be a cpu
but the os uses the cpu l2/l3 cache as needed
no way users can put info in or remove them manually
you have proven over and over again you do not know how pcs work
https://en.wikichip.org/wiki/intel/core_i9/i9-13900k
e cores and p cores have different cache banks
e cores
L1 1.5 MiB total
L1I 1 MiB 16x64 KiB
L1D 512 KiB 16x32 KiB
L2 16 MiB 4x4 MiB
L3 12 MiB 4x3 MiB
p cores
L1 640 KiB total
L1I 256 KiB 8x32 KiB
L1D 384 KiB 8x48 KiB
L2 16 MiB 8x2 MiB
L3 24 MiB 8x3 MiB
Trend of; If it can connect to the Internet(notice the capital I) download to everyone else and use it as the graphics card seems to be explained during this discussion.
Running gpuz
Since making on app to add some feature to something preexisting, takes time. May cause someone to read a book and write notes again.
Reporting issues to manufacturer to get bios and tuners programmed properly is not as fun. Someone else using resources to do research on bugged 5-50000 currency system who wrote a book to be noted.( upselling/planned obsolescence vs creating more work...and no pay) Which encourage those to find help from those who don't also know and have a social life a touch more interesting.
This may not be a cache, those devmgmt.msc has hidden items that you probably have drivers for that could be uninstalled.
Example:
that broken keyboard
controller
replaced gpu
and so forth that does make thought go gosh my cpu is on the fritz because for just a moment buy a new one is the norm
Course ddu is always a touch more interesting.
Thank for watching the avatar animation. Without gpu's I'd probably have nothing to watch quite as interesting. Just stuck in this text adventure of laurel and hardy "misconception's of DISS-information of computers are true." reboot.
