cheaper as well not sure what "dat" means
Check PC Part Picker All About What You Want At End Of Day
"Dat" as in an exasperated or hyperactive sounding "that". But yeah, it sounds a bit silly so edited.
A low-end GPU with a high-end CPU on a low-tier motherboard with 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM.
The CPU and motherboard combination is baffling.
DDR4-3200 RAM with who-knows-what motherboard (perhaps a MSI Pro B760M-G DDR4 or even cheaper) and that all paired with a 14900K(F).
The motherboard's VRM won't be able to deliver the high power demand of the 14900K(F).
The current tenor is to avoid 13th and 14th gen Intel CPUs due to inherent failure of the silicon.
You can get better performing hardware and higher quality accessory for 1.5k €.
7700(X) ~250€
air cooler - ~50€
motherboard ~200€
DDR5-6000 2x16 ~150€
1TB NVMe~100€
7700XT~ 400€
case ~ 100€
PSU ~ 100€
monitor ~150€
m+kb+hs ~100€

See, I plead ignorance to how exactly these should go hand-in-hand but I'm glad I went to the more experienced peeps to know what I'd be getting myself into. I didn't even realise these things would be so badly mismatched like this. Thanks.
Nope, you're right. I should have known a bigger number doesn't mean better when the motherboard can't even keep up.
With a build like this being so wildly out of balance, you could probably swap to an i3 and not really lose much.
I wouldn't get that computer when you can build a better one exactly how you want to.
really you should be starting with the software you want to run (mainly the animation stuff) and go from there if you want it to also game....start looking at the forms of the software you need to use and maybe even join a few and start asking questions on what works best and what you can get away with from a budget stand point.....then cross reference gaming performance with said hardware.....you should find a apex where budget, needs and gaming ability of the system hit your needs.....or you find out you need a lot more money........
Second I agree with God Rays on Ultra. That's a very low end prior generation G.P.U. being paired with the newest top of the line C.P.U. System configurations like that are why the bottlenecking analogy exists. The RTX 3060 is an older lower end G.P.U. which is way too weak for the 14900k. The RTX 3060 might be good for a lower mid-range system on a tight budget, but not an 1800 quid comp.
If you're looking to drop 1800 quid on a high end prebuilt intel computer the Legion Tower 5i Gen 8 has a 14700k and an RTX 4070 Super[www.lenovo.com] on sale. It's a marginal processor drop for a substantial G.P.U. gain. Not that' I'd recommend getting a 14th gen. intel chip with the raptor lake probems, but it's a far better deal on a product from a widely renowned company.
Whatever little difference there is between a 14700 and a 14900 is well past the point of diminsihing returns., whereas the difference between an RTX 3060 and a 4070 Super is substantial.
I don't recommend buying a 14th gen intel processor because of the raptor lake issues, but if you're going to do it, then you might as well buy a system that makes some sense.
Weak PSU, most likely terrible quality.
Build you own or let somebody build it for you if you want to avoid stupid customer traps like this.
Here, build like this will run circles around this Frankenstein trap:
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/yGmBsh
Lower mid range GPU.
As others have mentioned, slow RAM.
PSU that can and will hold you back from using a GPU that would be in similar class as the CPU.
Bad deal overall. You can build a much more balanced system that will perform much better for gaming and do it with reliable and quality hardware (right now that litterally means doing it with AMD, as both 13th and 14th gen parts are generally un-recommendable with how intel has handled its failure fiasco) and you can probably do it for either cheaper (for still better) or overall much better for same price.
If you have any desire or consideration to get Intel r/n watch this entire vid *first* then consider your purchase again:
