HDMI connection is making static on screen.
My HDMI cable that's hooked from my PC to my monitor randomly showing static.

Like, it will either always be doing it or not at all, that's what I mean by random. It's intermittent but becoming more frequent.

It's not a lot of static, but it's noticeable, especially because I use dark mode on just about everything. It's actually like, a super minimal amount of static. I use a 55" TV for my monitor and there's maybe a pixel of static every inch or two of screen space. It's noticeable though.

When I disconnect the HDMI cord from the back of the PC and reconnect it, the static will go away. Eventually it returns though, it's on my screen right now. I'ma unplugged the HDMI and then plug it back in and it'll be gone.

My question is, do you think this is the cord itself, my GPU (1660 Super, about ~3 years old, heavily used), or my television?

Thanks for any feedback.

I'd say the cable. Can you not borrow from the another TV in your home to try. If you can't even the cheapest replacement will get you a picture and identify if it was or want the cable
Do the static discharge solution, unplug from wall outlet then hold power button on tv/monitor for 10 seconds and re-plug back into the wall and if the static returns by a new cable.

The connection is not 100% or simply need to replace the cable.
