id say any modern laptop would be enough for this game... i think thermals are the greatest bottleneck for laptops...
They really didn't have to make the shell quite so thin.
All Laptops are going to hit around 85-90*C while gaming; it's normal.
Overall I wouldn't waste money on any Laptop unless you MUST be on the go with school + work + gaming like that all the time. Otherwise put the money into a modern-era Desktop, something you can actually upgrade. And something that won't be obsolete in 1-3 years like these sub-par Laptops, unless you spend at least $1500+ minimum
Steam Deck OLED is a great option and you can hook that up to a big screen TV or Monitor if you would ever want to.
you will also want to make sure it stays free of dust (blocks air flow and helps overheat it, which can cause performance issues and/or hardware failure), also replacing thermal paste maybe every 2 years when doing a cleaning.
imo, too expensive to let it get dirty and fail.
as for laptop brands, I'm not sure as I haven't bought on since 2013, but if I was to buy one, I would support a good brand like framework ( not sure if there are others), who are making upgradable/fixable laptops, or simply buying a steam deck.
that said, imho building a desktop is a much better option, easier to maintain, clean, fix, upgrade and has much better performance.
