Anybody else a nutcase with lots optical drives?

2x wh16ns40 (im intending to put firmware on these to backup 4k blu rays)
1x bh16ns40 (spare drive i took out to put in two other blu ray drives that support 4k blu ray)
1x sh-d163b dvd drive (for backing up xbox 360/xbox games)

Gosh, I still have two DVD spindles full of unused discs and these days when you can just have an HDD for so cheap it becomes a bit pointless.

But that's more than most people have nowadays.

Internal 5.25 BD-R drive and an old external USB one.

Have not had a disk drive in my pc for over a decade. I only have a portable usb drive for ripping a bluray from time to time…

I got a bunch of 5.25 inch drives in a bin, close to 40 of them, half of them are IDE, I got even more laptop style CD/DVD drives, no idea why I keep them, I can't even give them away and the electronic recycler near me charges you to recycle, so I just keep them in my spare room.

My optical can write and rewrite Blu-Ray discs, has the Hewlett Packard Lightscribe burning feature and can also play back HD-DVD discs (though not in anything past Win 7 alas). It's an LG model.
