real A tier PSU's are going to be closer to 200 dollars for 850 watt......like this Bequiet dark power 13
https://www.newegg.com/p/1HU-004H-000R9
check out the list of PSU's by tier and pick one in the A group if the budget allows it......
https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/
But do not listen to me, Captain OP, because I only have one of the most reliable and long-lasting OC PC systems out there today yet people treat me like second-class here.
Corsair CX is their cheap series. RM and RMx are usually fine.
and i bet money its not a A tier PSU.....my EVGA G3 750watt was 140 bucks on sale and is a A tier PSU......it was down from 180.....and FYI i have a 650 watt PSU that is over 12 years old now....did not need a 1000 watt PSU to use a PSU for over a decade.....
my current PSU has seen 3 motherboards and 4 GPU's......on a 750watt......850 for this guy will be fine......
as long as its more than what the system needs
over by 100% is good, since the psu will have lot of overhead, and it will also be in a much more efficient range
a psu being stressed at 90+% is not good for it, it will make more heat and be less efficient
