to be brutally honest Grado makes some of the best headphones you can buy at or below the 500 dollar price point BUT most are open backed cans that will let in sound.....
if you want isolation these are not for you but if you want the best sound stage you can buy for under 500 dollars there is nothing better.....
the new version the SR80x is 125 dollars for just the cans....you will still need to spend about 20 bucks more on a good stand alone mic to go with them.....you dont need the 125x and you do NOT want to step DOWN to the 60x......the 80x is the sweet spot to not waste cash but not get the bottom of the line that lacks bass......these headphones are still hand made in New York and have been early 90's when they released this series....the company was formed in 1953
i do not work for them....i am not paid to say any of this....i just see people wasting money on garbage and would rather see you spend it on something that will last 20 plus years of real use for a good price that still supports real made in the US goods.....

In terms of audio quality they are acceptable - nothing amazing, but acceptable. For gaming more than enough. And I say that as someone who did use Grados and Audio Technicas in the past and found them to be overkill for my use case. It depends on what you want to do.
i have Arctis Nova 7+ and the Arctis Nova 5X is newly released this year. my Arctis Nova 7+ good working condition but the headset got stucked and mic got stucked aswell and cannot be adjusted no more.
you say this like there's even a difference when music is playing at double the frequencies that you can hear, mastering notwithstanding
Plus, even if it's kind of hard to justify steel series anything when Beyerdynamic sells a headset for cheaper[www.amazon.com].
