Just be sure to research the model firstly; as there is "some" junk on here as well; but not as bad as say Newegg, Amazon and alike.
The Framework 16 is thinner than some, but it's a powerhouse and is fully repairable, so you don't have to use heat gun and pry tools and exotic screwdriver heads to get inside and touch up the thermal compound or replace the battery once it starts getting weak.
If you're going to college, you could get by with just a Raspberry Pi.

AMD GPU sadly you will not find any or maybe two at most.
