Dark Rock Pro 5 middle fan
Hello!
I have a question regarding Dark Rock Pro 5. How can I easily remove the middle fan of the cooler? I don't know how to remove it. I have a feeling that I tightened the screws too much and I want to unscrew them just a bit. The thing is that I don't know how to remove the middle fan and I don't want to do anything stupid and break it. I kindly need some assistance with this one. Thanks and sorry for my bad english!

its just clipped on, but a pain to do inside a case due to how the fan is slid sideways into the coolers gap

I am building a PC for the first time and I only have the motherboard with the CPU and RAM in it and of course the cooler. I don't have these mounted in the case yet. How can I "unclip" it? Will I break something if I force it out?

The middle fan is just screwed to the removable top plate that covers the top of the heatsink. You take off the top and under the top is a mounting point with 2 phillips head screws.

You can see this at 06:29 of this video on the Dark Rock Pro 5...

In this video at 5:30, he clips the middle fan in. I want to know how can I unclip it. I'm afraid I will break something if I force it out. I used a little bit of force to unclip it, but it doesn't flinch.

ok, its different design
unscrew/unclip the top and lift it off

but you cant go too tight on the screws that hold the heatsink down

bottom out the screws.....that CPU cooler is made to have them bottomed out as that is the rated pressure for the socket and cooler design.....DO NOT LOOSEN THE SCREWS

Do everything with the Motherboard outside the Case first. Test everything before installing into a Case
