Yeah forget it with Intel UHD graphics besides 10 year old games and indie titles.
Either get one with a proper AMD APU, or a discrete GPU.
The problem with laptops is, office laptops are not suitable for gaming, gaming laptops are not good for office work.
An APU or a dedicated GPU are better for sure, but gaming with Intel's integrated GPU's is also possible if you don't mind playing on lower settings/ low resolution. But it's better to have more than 16GB RAM.
Currently, the Framework 16 is the best laptop I've ever owned. Aside from being repairable and modular, the replaceable battery is probably the most important aspect.
Good hardware remains reusable for a very long time, especially with a light linux distro, but a battery starts getting weak after only 5-7 years or so of use. Above all else, avoid laptop makers who seal the battery and make you muck around with heat gun and pry tools to get at. Sager Clevo is a good choice, but costs a pretty penny.
except more expensive
because you don't deserve a gaming laptop

at least you get a decent to good GPU with a $2-3k gaming laptop
that was only for the intel arc and xe dedicated gpus, the igpus still support dx9 with hardware
and the arc and xe use driver software to convert dx9 to dx12 instructions
Problem solved.
Now, when it comes to these Intel iGPUs, they are part of the Xe family, but with the LP-Xe architecture. So how different are they from others? I don't know Intel doesn't seem to know what they are selling. And even so, they still run DirectX9…

WTF Intel
Also, If you want it to last make sure it has at least an RTX xx70's series or above (or the AMD equivalent) and no more than 1080p native. You don't wanna go above 1080p on the laptop since it will already run hot and loud at 1080p on somes games.
it will play tekken 7, most pre 2019 games on low settings,
the issue is win 11 will need to bypass tpm but win 10 will run fine
but for about $700-800 you can get pretty modern walmart acer nitro gaming laptop

depends on how cheap you want to go but the $80 laptop will probably do everything you want for very cheap
If you want to play modern games, then do not get anything less than something with a 4060 or better in it.
If money is a factor then wait and buy one on sale closer to Christmas, or look into buying a Steam Deck instead. Macs also cost way more for less gaming performance, so avoid those as well.
