post a cpuz validation link
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
cpuz -> validate button -> submit button

This is like using userbenchmark. It's super inaccurate.

Looks like a Core i3-350m, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 graphics, 1366x768 resolution. Not sure how much RAM. This machine was cheap and low-end when it came out nearly a decade and a half ago.

You can run very old and undemanding games. This would be a good system for emulating 16 bit consoles, or playing games that are 20 years old on lower settings. Even relatively lightweight indie games by modern standards, you'll want to pick and choose carefully and only run some of the less demanding ones. You can probably get away with emulating 32 bit consoles as well, but beyond that your experience will rapidly decline.

I also assume you're probably running Windows 7, which while Steam still runs there at the moment, the current beta completely disables it, and once that update gets out of beta you're pretty much screwed.

I would ordinarily recommend you switch to Linux in this case, but your integrated graphics doesn't support Vulkan, and Valve's Proton compatibility layer relies on Vulkan to do it's magic, so you would actually be severely limiting the games you could play to only lightweight Linux native titles.

I would retire this machine to duty running emulators of classic systems and GOG offline installers. That's still thousands upon thousands of games you can enjoy though, so it's far from useless.

Given the age and performance of the hardware, almost nothing recent. It's barely considered usable for daily use and wouldn't run well outside of a very light Linux distribution.

you might be able to run star trek online. ghost master too should run. your cpu is more than strong enough for that it seems. imperialism series would run welll. basicallly anything from the 90s.
Old games from 2010 maybe.
maybe, though it depends on requirements. starcraft 2 should run fairly well.
alot of those are too demanding for the first gen i series cpu
its not only mhz, but ipc (core efficiency, instructions per clock)

the cpu is 2.2ghz at max turbo
and will throttle lower at load or when hot
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/43529/intel-core-i3350m-processor-3m-cache-2-26-ghz/specifications.html

and intel has been making around 2-5% core performance per clock increases every gen from 2nd to 10th

issac and nobody saves the world and modded source games will struggle to run on it

I can confirm it is. I remember 2 years ago I had my old laptop and I used to find low-end games on it, 90% of the time it was inaccurate.

I think the problem is that with low-end PC, those stats are from years back when those parts were launched. Today, windows and other tasks (Steam also) take most of the resources, so none is left for the games.

What I always did was watch on YouTube. One Channel I remember was GameplayICU

Again, not 100% of it will work, but from my own experience a lot of it worked on my i5 and integrated graphics with 4 gb ram laptop, back then :steamhappy:

Damn... it is a Core i3 with 4 GB Ram and Integrated Graphics in your laptop. I'm wondering if Windows run smoothly on that :csgohelmet:

You can play -

:bfairstrike: COD 1, 2, 3, 4 (maybe not 4)
:bfairstrike: GTA 3, Vice City
:bfairstrike: Hitman 1, Blood Money
:bfairstrike: Just Cause 1, 2 (2 with extra tweaking to graphics settings)
:bfairstrike: Max Payne 1 and 2
:bfairstrike: Mafia 1
:bfairstrike: Old NFS Games
:bfairstrike: Sniper Ghost Warrioir 1
:bfairstrike: Spiderman 2002, Spiderman The Movie

That's all I can think of for AAA Games  Most of them should work fine, although some of them may require ultra-low graphics settings to run.
i think even minecraft will lag hard on this laptop
