Zowie benq xl2411z monitor stuck at 60hz

Hi guys, i have a little problem, i have Monitor zowie benq XL2411Z, and i have right cable dvi-d, and after i start new pc i can use 120hz in some resolutions, but idk why after restart pc i can use only 60hz... idk what to do... i have i5-12400f gforce rtx 3070 gigabate, (and yes i have dp to dvi-d reduction and this reduction support 144hz) what can i do? please help

ok set it in windows.....go to display settings and make sure the monitor in quest is high lighted in blue....then scroll down the page until you find the advanced options.....set Hz in the screen that pops up.....this will make the default Hz rating the default for everything.....

change it using nvidia gpu control panel

in the 'change res' page
scroll down to pc resolutions, and pick the native, and select 120-144hz

no one working... everywhere is 60hz, but before it happened i have normally 120hz

adapters always have problems tho.
120hz vs 144 is not noticeable.

yes but, why firstly i can show a 120hz and now i cant...

dvi cables can be digital, analog or both
the 4 pins around the bar are for analog, same signal as vga
i think the last gpus with dvi-i/a port were the gtx 9xx series or amd r9 3xx

anything newer with dvi will be digital only dvi-d
