i hate the chiclet or short stroke keyboards, and need full sized keyboard layout
I dislike chiclet and low profile keyboards but someone else might like them. The people that like those might hate the full height keyboards and keycaps that I use, that's our preferences. Nothing makes one better than the other, it's all subjective and opinionated.
You can use bottom of the barrel keyboards for gaming, won't be a good experience but you can, it really doesn't matter. Use what you like best, for gaming as long as it has basic features like NKRO and whatever else you like, that's all that matters.
I've upgraded to a Wooting keyboard primarily for GTA but its been great in most other games period.
Standard keycap from mechanical keyboard well most cases for gaming but there are other elements count. If you are esport titles favor well standard keycap and normal layout without separated number keys better choice. Other hand with normal gaming and office work just stick standard keycap and full size mechanical keyboards, some accounting works feeling good with separated number keys or so many actions require in some games like Psychonaut for example.
Low profile keycap from mechanical keyboard most of the times just for office or very light gaming.
Hmm, other meaning standard keycaps and mechenical/membrane keyboard well it doesn't matter they are different from sound when typing. And low profile keycaps you know what it looks like, just like from laptop if it membrane keyboard, and it just portable from mechanical one.
Or I have to ask you, could you identify any differences from hit gas with full force or hit gas with low press from driving a car?
Low profile switches or standard switches again each people got plenty of things/hobbies. Again it's about being gentle with your stuff I no offense here or I could spam from my mechanical keyboard and see how long will it being broken/malfunction behave?
Answer low profile switch was easy to fail most cases included environment. Standard switches are last ones standing here.
Oh about pricing low profile switches cost much more or the same price as best switches
Well well well all just ideas and attendances.
Until you need to clean under them and the plastic scissor switch snaps instead of the cap coming off.
Alas, Cyberclean goo seems to have been discontinued, and only knockoffs to be found online now.
