Inverted colors on AMD APU

I found a really strange problem on my girlfriends notebook, so maybe someone can help. She has a notebook with an AMD A8 APU and an integrated HD8000M graphics card running Windows 10 20H2.

Since she installed the newest Radeon driver, the colors are inverted in full screen mode. So blue is red and red is blue and so on. This only happens when using DirectX and full screen mode. Changing to windowed mode solves the problem. Also disabling "Full screen optimization" can be a solution for some games. And the problem doesn't appear with OpenGL, only DirectX.

What can be the reason for such a strange problem?

That PC is too old to support Win10 beyond 1909 or 2004.
As it must rely on out-dated Legacy Drivers.
You can try staying on 20H2 and wipe the Drivers out using the DDU App via Safe Mode.

This is a problem between the latest windows update and video-card drivers.

Try to open the windows magnifier (Windows logo key + Plus sign (+) while inside your game/app in full screen and then just minimize the magnifier window, that should work ;)

To turn off Magnifier, press the Windows logo key + Esc

a newer apu system or a budget one can still beat this old dual budget crossfire system for under 400 dollars even with gpu shortage

AMD FM2 or AM3 systems really just aren't good enough to handle Win10 properly.
As many of those CPUs aren't even as good as an older Intel Skylake 2500K or maybe around 3700K at best.
