Issue with a Computer mouse
My mouse doesn't want to right click normally it either right clicks after sometime so like half a second or i have to right click multiple times, if anyone knows any solutions you're more than welcome to tell me anything that may help.

I have cleaned my mouse inside and outside.
My mouse software is fully up to date.
I have a roccat Kiro mouse.

It may be because i have it for 2/3 years now but i want to try everything that may help before i just buy a new one.

Definitely sounds like it is going bad. I had many mice do that before they stopped registering the click at all.

The switches in the mouse go bad. In all of them in my experience I buy expensive ones and they still go bad. It IS possible to put in a new switch but you need to know how and have a solderer. There are YT videos to guide you. I usually get double clicks from the left button when it goes bad. Try flexing the plastic shell or lid above the button.
I'll probably will try to look at replacing the switches so thank you for your responses!!

Yup, and this is also the same reason why i never bother with expensive mouse anymore

Soldering isn't hard, 10 mins of practice and you can desolder and resolder a new switch easy.
Do watch some videos, learn about it, you'll easily have the mouse last decades if you replace the only part of the mouse that is bound to fail, other than the feet.

I would have no issues spending 100 quid on a 'gaming' mouse, so long as it was a perfect fit for me, I know how to repair my own electronics, soldering in new switches doesn't bother me, it's a 5 minute job.
I expect switches to fail, they're limited life, high use products, it happens, I'm not to bothered when they die.

But to each their own I guess.

when a button starts to go bad it should first give some double clicks or occasional missed clicks

do you hear the switch click when you push the button?

most use a microswitch like these (make sure to order ones with 3pins, not lugs) and you can remove the lever

de-soldering multipin connectors takes practice, the traces in mice are thin and fragile
very good soldering irons are not expensive anymore ~$50

and desoldering bulb or pump (bulb works better than the $5 spring pump)
