Can't Hear Myself in Headset while Voice Chatting
Ok, so when I voice chat I can't hear my voice in the headphones. I'm using Razer Kraken 7.1 Headsets. Is there a way to change this?

Lol fixed it. Went to the recording devices and right clicked it, and hit listen to this device. I also need to hear myself when talking because they are noise cancelling headphones and if I can't hear myself I can mispronounce words and ♥♥♥♥.

God, that would be annoying. Constant echo.

My old Turtle Beaches (modded for PC because they were originally for 360) would let me hear myself and it was fine. Lol I can get used to it sometimes, but sometimes it's weird and when I can't hear what I'm saying it sometimes throws me off.

Any setup can let u hear yourself; all u do is UnMute the Mic in Playback.
If u'r fine with it like that, I find it annoying. U don't look towards hearing yourself when u talk on a phone, or on speaker through a phone. Just talk normal! If you use "Push-To-Talk" allow a short delay between the talk button and you starting to speak. Practice talking through Mic/Headset with friends and others who u know and/or who u can already talk to easily and would understand that your are testing out something new. Practice a little and play around, then going online with strangers in-game and talking shouldn't be a problem.

The only difference between a phone and headsets, is that headsets are noise cancelling. If you ever have heard a deaf person talk, they can't talk right due to lack of them not hearing themselves. This is a lesser degree, but messups in speech can still be present due to it.

I don't see a point made, or the connection.
You are talking out loud, so you are already hearing yourself.
Now it's one thing to unmute the mic so u can hear yourself for testing purposes, but to want to hear yourself all the time in the headset for example makes absolutely no sense what-so-ever.

Noise-Cancelling really has nothing to do with your Voice per-say. The point of such a feature is help block out random, ambient, background noises to help your voice be clear. If you speak calmly and clearly, you shouldn't have an issue.

Well I have some old Turtle Beaches for Xbxo 360 that do it, and chatting through them without being able to hear myself in those is also weird.

Well on a PC you also will usually have more features, which should have the ability to be enabled/disabled based on overall needs and what works best for your setup/situation.

For example, aside from Noise-Cancelling (which u can usually disable if need be) there are usually other features you can toggle, such as Echo Reduction, DB settings, and others. Depends on what the sound card / usb headset supports both via hardware and/or through software drivers.

Yeah. I actually turned off the listen to this device cause there was lag which was strange.
There is no muted anything when I check the device in the properties either.
It doesn't matter now I guess, I can get used to it haha.
