Razer, Logitech or SteelSeries?
This three companies make good products and I can't decide which one.

Not had a great time with Logitech's stuff other than their webcams, never used anything by SteelSeries. I go with Razer for their mechanical keyboards and mice.

Corsair and Roccat, let's stirr the pot some more. :P

Depends what exactly, almost every company makes some stuff good and some stuff rubbish.

Zowie For mice
Filco or Ducky for keyboards
And DO NOT buy a "Gaming" Headset, Buy a nice set of "audiophile" headphones and a good mic

I've used Logitech products for years now and all still works. I accidently broke one of the usb receivers and I got a free replacement with their great customer service. So Logitech for me.

Completely depends on the product, but it's good to stick to the same brand (if bundled software/drivers), highly recommend...

Logitech G500 mouse
Logitech G710+ keyboard

or...

Razer DeathAdder 2013 mouse
Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth 2014 keyboard

These are both great products which last for 8 years+, palm grip, optimal weighting, weave cable, accurate tracking, plus all the basic features you need with none of the rubbish that just breaks or is a complete waste.

Both however have software driver bundles (you use the same bulk software for both devices) so it's best to get them together.

To finish it off - group either of them with a....

Razer Goliathus (Speed or Control, depending on gaming style) mouse pad.

This takes your hardcore gaming to another level!

Indeed.

$119 for an Audiotechnica ATH M50s and a mic and you're good to go. I'd rather have a solid set of headphones for everything rather than a gaming headset.

It varies. Now when I got my Razer mouse, I notice that the previous Logitech was pure rubbish. But I also have a Logitech keyboard and is my best keyboard ever.
So just as Azza said above, it depends on product.
Ironically one of the best mouses I had, was Genius branded. Not many would believe I guess.
