Realtek HD Audio Manager No Bass Management Option
Hey, I recently bought a pair of Razer Tiamats 7.1 gaming headset and I downloaded Realtek HD audio manager to activate the subwoofers on them, but there is no option to do so.

There should be a "Speaker Fill" option a "Swap Center / Subwoofer Output" option and an "Enable Bass Management" option but there is none.

Any suggestions? Without it there is no bass and it just sounds bad.

Thanks in advance.

My problem is I have too much bass and no way to equalize it, my options are limited on my logitech headset. Not a problem for 95% of what I do, but games like csgo I would like less bass.

Didn't the Razer Tiamats come with any drivers to download or does iit just use Realtek?

I wouldn't know because my friend sold them to me. He tested them and said they worked and I tried downloading Razer Surround but that doesn't work.

From the information on the razer website it should have 5x 3.5mm jacks to connect the headset to your soundcard/onboard-chip. You won't need any additional drivers for that.
Did you select "7.1" from the speaker-setup dropdown-menu?

Maybe you need to adjust channel(s) on the headset itself. check the manual "master guide" for the headset:

I've already selected "7.1" from the setup and I have all of the jacks plugged in.

I have the same exact problem. like i have 5.1ch config and theres no speaker fill or bass managment just that stupid swap center/subwoofer (makes sound ♥♥♥♥♥♥)

I have MSI looking into this their buying my exact speakers to test with their motherboards. I'm using a MSI gaming 5 motherboard and a GX Gaming speakers 5.1Ch.

I want to know if you already figured it out?

I also have this problem since I got my new motherboard. Perviously I had Intel DP55WG board which had bass management option and that would crank up the bass on my roccat kave 5.1 headset....Now I have MSI Z97 G45 Gaming mother board and this option is not available. Dont get me wrong...the bass works perfect in the games...but when listening to music with media player or VLC player only the front speakers work :(

Now the question that remains:

Do you have a sound card that supports 7.1? The product specs specificly state: "7.1 Surround Sound-enabled Sound Card (for 7.1 Mode)"

FOUND A FIX FOLLOW STEPS FOR MSI GAMING 5 or higher MOTHERBOARDS:

So today I was working on my other computer and wanted to listen to music and I messed around with the setting and there is only 1 way to get it to work without Swap center.
This is how:
1. Go to Realtek HD Audiomanager
2. Set it to 5.1 Select the speakers
3. Open Sound Blaster Cinema 2
4. Go to Custom
5. Set speakers to 7.1Ch
6. Go to Realtek and turn off Surrond Speakers
7. Go back into Sound Blaster Cinema 2 and select Bass Redirection.
It was a long process but all speakers now work Fantastically!

All u should have to do is this:
Go to Playback Devices > click your default device (i.e. Speakers)
Click configure and set to either 5.1 or 7.1 (depending what u have)
Once u get through that setup screen. Now go to Properties for those Speaker.
There should be an Enhancements tab (or similar name) and from there u should options such as Bass Redirect, Equalizer and extra features of that sort u can configure.

I understand but we have a issue that Realtek dosent show all those Enhancements in the Enhancements tab. All I know is that the only way i got my 5.1Ch speakers to work. Thats all. I spent hours and hours and hours it was not that easy to find the Combination to make it work, If bass managment would show up under Enhancements tab i would have had no problems. But it didnt show up after updating Bios, Realtek, Graphics card. Nothing. all i know is it sounds like me and MS Paint have the same issue, that i figured out.

Don't mean to make that sound rude just a FYI.
