who the hell goes outside to play on a laptop. That dude needs to see a shrink!
Seriously I often sit outside with my laptop, what I have to be blowing A/C on me to enjoy myself? Sometimes just as hot inside as outside, with proper shade and a fan cooling pad, I can run my laptop all day outside in 90*F heat, no problem.
Which model?
IIRC the 15" versions support a few options.

Both the 14" and 15" should have an mSATA slot as well, allowing for usage of a smaller mSATA SSD as an expandable storage or caching option.
The downside with how Lenovo Y-series though is they usually ship them with 5400rpm HDD. Not the best for a gamer, however with an OS on an SSD and using the 5400rpm HDD for games or storage should be just fine.
