Sysmain superfetch hogging ram

I know its purpose is to allow the system to use ram more efficiently but it uses 125,000K memory, It will eventually stop, but why does it do this? My system idles with 2 of 8 gigs utilized, which drives me up the wall. Anybody got any tips?
