can i run i7 3770k with RTX GPU ?

Hi Guys . i have i7 3770k GTX 1060 6 gb i want to buy RTX GPU but i am afraid of bottleneck . my countery economy is so bad and we pay like double of real price in usa even rtx 2060 is not cheap and available , i dont mind to buy+ rtx 4000 series or 5000 for now maybe 4070 not sure how much this will help to boost fps ( i don't want to spend on cpu and motherboard for now )

with gtx 1060 i am getting +130 fps in c s 2 and R 6 low and meduim i just want to get 240 to get benefit of 240 hz monitor

is it even possible to get 240 fps in CS2 and R6 with rtx 4070 and i7 3770k ?

then thing is in CS2 and even new heavy games CPU usage is like 40 %

Your cpu and pcie gen slot might gimp your performance.

i7-3770k at 1440p with 4070. The 4070 stays pretty much below 60% usage while the cpu maxes out. 4k would be slightly more gpu usage? 1080p would be limited by the cpu.

You can utilize up to RTX 3080 / 3080 Ti on PCIE 2.0

Many motherboard might not boot off of RTX 40 series unless they are PCIE 3.0

thank you so much i have no idea about 1440p my cpu is 3770k 3.50 GHZ this video 3770 3.40 GHZ there is minor difference right ? one thing i noticed is in this video cpu clock is 3696 mhz for me its 3915- 4018 but i play 1080p

i guess still 60% rtx4070 with dlss is better then gtx1060 plus if i do 1440p low or normal setting will get maybe 20-30 fps in Red Dead Redemption 2

1440p should be fine. I had no issues doing 1440p 165Hz on FX9 with RTX 3080
