From what I've briefly gleaned from the Asus website, BIOS ver. 3802 does support R7 5700X3D. Sorta like when I'd gotten my 5700X3D, checked my mobo, a Gigabyte X570S Aorus Elite AX, which had a 3900X in it, and it turned out the BIOS (that was shipped with the mobo when I got it in January 2022) already had support for the R7 5700X3D.

Ryzen 7 5700X3D (3.0GHz,105W,L3:96M,8C) 3802

it is supported, but its best to update bios anyway

its only the 2nd gen ryzen cpus that did not boot in early boards with unsupported bios
amd since fixed that, it will work with unknown cpu, just may not say its model or some things, but it will work enough to flash bios to a better supported version

but a newer cpu in an older chipset may also nerf the cpu in other ways
older pci-e rev, how lanes are divided out and other things that the newer chipset would be more optimized for the newer cpu

Thanks a lot I’m asking cuz when I’m in bios selecting the update file from my usb it says the file isn’t proper bios.. couldn’t fix it yet.. I’ll buy new usb today maybe that’s the case cuz the old one was kinda destroyed lol. So if I mount my new cpu will I normally boot to windows with this version of bios ?

you dont need usb to update bios
you can copy the extracted boos bin file to the root of any drive, and select it from in bios update tool from within bios

You want to update to the latest BIOS, regardless. As it will address various bugs with Ryzen 5xxx series.

My latest version is beta should i install the beta or the last build before the beta?
unless you feel like you want to be a "beta tester", you should choose last "stable" version
