NEW RIG LAG WITH SECURE BOOT??
Dear,

Today i installed my new rig, i have z790 aorus elite ax + 14900k + 3070, i have 400-500fps constantly , fresh windows install with media stick, so all drivers are new , also instantly flashed my bios.

but i have a seriously weird problem.

When i enable secure boot to play on face it, my games lags every 1-2 seconds (like micro stuttering), i dont get fps drops but it feels like it.. i have it on premier, matchmaking and private server aggainst bots but thats less. And the funny part is… it only acures when i am playing but when i am looking at death cam no lag acures

Gpu usage 90% and all temp are round 50 celcius

When i disable it all runs flawless, the game runs smooth on all settings.

i hope some one have experiencing the same problem, because i like to play on face it..

Unless you're talking about transporting a laptop that contains the NOC list, secure boot and TPM are worthless and more trouble than they're worth.

Naturally, Microsoft is still pushing it hard.

Some people have reported that installing a discrete TPM resolves stuttering with FACEIT, but some have also said that it didn't help. Your board's spec page says that only a Gigabyte "GC-TPM2.0 SPI" or "GC-TPM2.0 SPI 2.0" is compatible. Gigabyte's naming of their TPM modules is very confusing and you'll probably want to check that one of those exact strings is on the PCB, or at the very least that the vendor specifically claims compatibility with Gigabyte LGA1700 boards. In particular, anything having a chip starting with "SLB966" is probably incompatible (the specified modules use the newer SLB9670).

The "GC-TPM2.0 SPI V2" (yes, this is a different product than the "GC-TPM2.0 SPI 2.0"; see what I mean about the names being confusing?) looks like it might also be compatible, as some newer boards specify it alongside the others, but I'd only try it if you can't find someone selling one of the others.

Unfortunately, the reality is that a lot of this security stuff is still half-baked after 20+ years of development and there's a real chance that you simply won't find a good solution.
