Steam Deck stuck on Steam os

Hi guys,

My steam deck is stuck on the steam os page, and I can't select any of the 5 options (current image b, previous image a...) since there is no input from the dead or any other buttons. I think there might have been an auto update recently that might have caused this? Has anyone had the same bug and were you able to fix it? Please help me out 🥺

Does it respond in the bios menu? What about with a BT input?

Unfortunately none of the buttons are responding, so I can't select anything, which is my problem. Otherwise I'd choose previous image a so it would load the previous update

No response from any input. Believe me, I've thoroughly fondled every available deck surface in my desperation 😅

That video does not address the error I'm encountering, unfortunately, and I don't want a reset and lose all my game data

Well your game saves should be saved to Steam Cloud Sync Backup.

But yea IDK, check the Steam Deck forum section for any possible answers or simply remake this thread on there. If an update is faulty or problematic, it's not uncommon that the user may need to do a factory reset, and then do the latest update afterwards to get it where it needs to be. It happens. It's not perfect.

Thanks for your help, I`ll try and see if attaching a keyboard will allow me to navigate the menu and post my experience here.
