Does 1080p look blurry on a 27" screen?
Hello! I recently bought a 1080p 27" IPS monitor.

Some other specs are: sRGB 134%, Adobe RGB 94%, DCI P3 98%, 400 cd/m^2, 1ms, DisplayHDR 400, Panel bit depth 8 bits (6 bits + FRC), Colors 24 bits, Freesync/Gsync compatible, 180Hz.

Is text gonna look blurry? My previous monitor was 23.8" 1080p.

Nah, shouldn`t be problem. Modern 27" 1080p 144 Hz+ IPS panels are pretty sharp.
Just make sure to adjust the font sharpness and such - not sure about IPS but TN is fine at this size (actually, some games are too sharp at times).

if you use windows, you can adjust the sharpness of texts on the monitor by using dccw.exe

just type it into your windows search bar and execute the application.

the Application is easy to understand and windows-embedded-software.

it works!

have a nice day.

anything will look blurry when stretched to a non native res

It does a bit for normal Windows but it looks fine for a game.

if it a native res, it will not look blurry
1080p 27in will have larger pixels than 1080p 24in

I would say it's more pixelated than blurry. If you sit close to the monitor you will be able to see the grid and individual pixels.
In some games it makes little difference but in some newer games with 4K textures it can make a very big difference.

Saying that I still prefer larger 27’ over 24’ monitor.

sat with a 32inch 1080 165hz monitor only 28 inches from my face.....never had issues but had to make adjustments to windows settings to make it look right.....

Compared to smaller 1080p screens there will be a small difference but it's nothing to be worried about, it'll only really be super noticeable with text

the larger the screen, the further away your face needs to be for optimal image quality
