use the keyboard in usb, or something dedicated, or its own 2.4ghz dongle (not wifi or bt mode)
The HP keypad only has BT hookup. It's either that or nothing.
you can use the bt keyboard on phone, tablet or console, maybe smart tv
1. I bought another BT receiver and Win 10 would not allow them to both be active at the same time. The drivers for the second one would not load.
2. I bought a different brand for the second.
First: ASUS in 2021
Second: TP-Link in 2024
The TP-Link is much faster than the ASUS. Don't know if its the difference in quality, or newer technology.
3. Discovered another option I may try some day. Positive reviews.

Yes, its a desktop. If you mean a card that plugs into a PCIe slot, I don't have the room on my MB. My GPU is a 4070 Ti and needs the space on either side for the fans. Tried something like that a couple of years ago and the system started shutting down due to overheating.
Actually, I corrected my statement above. Not the MB, but the system would shut down due to the GPU fans being blocked and causing overheating. The GPU would cause the system to shut down.
In my case I also had a mini pcie slot on the opposite side of the gpu away from the fans that i could use but it was disabled by the Nvme drive as it was a shared slot.
Moving the Nvme drive to the alternative slot 2 location freed the pcie slot and everything was good.
I used the Asus AXE5400 pcie card which gave me 6E wifi connection and bluetooth all in one.
I quote myself:
"If you mean a card that plugs into a PCIe slot, I don't have the room on my MB"
