Also DS4 windows will just emulate your PS5 controller like a Xbox 360 controller. You can emulate a PS4 controller while using a PS5 controller however.
And make sure you're using a Data transfer USB C cable.
BTW most PC games have Xbox Glyphs. Some have mods that change them to have Playstation Glyphs, and some Modern PC games have Playstation Glyphs already like Risk of Rain 2.
If a game has native ps5 support then you need to turn steam support off. Can be counterintuitive to switch everything off to make it work native.
Try to copy my settings if you want PS5 controller native support with haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, speakers, microphone, touchpad, etc working correctly.
All this should work IF the game has native ps5 controller support. Also use wired connection as not all games support all the features via wireless.
