Ultra wides worth it?
Depends, if you’re doing more than Gaming.
Free real estate is nice for production wise.
Some would swear for traditional duel monitors over ultra wides.
Strictly for or mainly for gaming?
Hard to suggest because most games don’t support 32:9 features.
Of course there’s mods, but they don’t really have that true native ultra wide/fov experience.
But other than that, OLED on any monitor sizes is a must, if you haven’t gotten the chance to try it out in stores.
Colors are 1:1, blacks are blacks, whites are whites.
My main concern is the burn in, I don't have or want to change monitors each time it broke woth a burn in with oleds...
So im thinking going mini led like my tv and i just saw tcl did one, TCL 34R83Q .
But i also want to try an oled but , my main games are rts and i have a lot of static information on screen..sooo I don't know.
Your neo is mini led right?
Edit: you have the oled one so no mini led.
Anyway, i just bought the oled g9 without smart stuff...hope for the best..probably ill get burn in before the monitor at this rate..i've read almost everything..and ill treat this monitor like a disabled baby.
But im also temped to cancel the order and go for the safer way and take a 21:9...but at this rate i will never buy or experience anything..so if nothing super wrong happens ill keep the 32:9... every game i play and want to play in the future have native support...indie nowdays supports even my grandma so i don't really think 32:9 is a problem for me...at most ill mod the game, it's not a big issue ( i think ) nowdays with 21:9 i have zero problems and i do not have to mod anything..the only one i modded was grandblue fantasy ( japanese game , so no support ever from them and i will never buy their games since im not interested in almost any of them but if i do ill check for a mod first no problem)
