Whys my moms laptop minecraft better then my gaming pc??

So i spend ALL my bday money over one hundred dolars on this "gaming pc" I found on facebook market place with mom and it minecrafts at like 40fps!!! But my moms old laptop (she only uses it for facebook and shopping) runs it FINE even with shaders on.

I got a AMD radeion card or sumthing, 4GB RAM (thats a lot rite?), and a cpu that says "Athlon " which i thot was the best becuz athlon sounds fancy. My friend says i need RTX but why does minecraft need like NASA computer to play block game now?!

Is this bcuz game companys r greedy or did facebook rip me off? Also my rgb keyboard lights r so bright they hurt my eyeballs. Help pls 😡

Why would your parents buy you that trash tier PC now when 9900X3D and a 5090 will be out in January?

January might be pushing it. But the 5000 series are due in the next quarter and they are limiting if not stopped production of all 4000 series to clear back stock.

That 9000 series x3d is a beast. So is the price tag. I cant afford that but i might upgrade my AM4 with the 7800 if i can fine one. Otehrwisee the 7700x will do.

Ive got a am4 based 5 5500 now.

If your Motherboard isn't cheap junk, just stick a 5700X3D on there. It's well worth it compared to even a 5600X

7xxx series will require an AM5 Motherboard + DDR5 RAM

Building PC's is like playing with lego. You snap pieces into place and that is it. The rest is done on the software side. Take ESD precautions, use common sense, preferably have certifications to deal with hardware - like i do, and building PC's becomes easy.

Which cert do you have; playing with playdough 101?
