mice are simple enough to fully take apart and clean and reassemble
you would need to trust the seller to put in new swithes
after you get it, you can easily tell if they have been replaced, look for shiny solder (leaded)
on the pins for the switches would indicate they have been replaced
if the components have foggy solder (unleaded), then they have not
Disagree with this part. Ifixit has nothing for the G604. Here is what is involved:

I was stuck on removing the scroll wheel assembly. The video does not show clear enough that there is a plastic pin in the back that slides out. Now I finally have the board all the way out. But I don't have much faith in my ability to reassemble all that and have it work again.
Just remove all the old solder and use lots of flux. Practice first if you feel you need to. Obviously temp controlled irons make things easiest. Just make sure whichever iron you use it has enough power/watts otherwise it’ll loose heat quicker than it can generate heat and you’ll struggle to get solder to flow.
