Steam Web Version
Is there a web version of Steam that I can use instead of an app? I currently have Windows 7 on my laptop and until I can get Windows 10 installed I can't use apps like Steam. I also can't use the Discord on my laptop but I can use the web version. So I was wondering if there was a web version

Everything except game installs can be done via the Steam website via web browser. For over 10 years when I want to use the Store or Community I do it web browser. Less overhead and lag.

There’s steam-headless that runs in a docker/podman container. I haven’t tried it with games that are heavy on a gpu but it works well. I think it basically runs steam on Debian, a dummy vnc server and presents the client in a browser.

You can install games through steam-cli too. I’ve never played with that though.
