That POS is NOT going to run most games very well at all.
Might as well be tossing that money in the toilet.
might as well have ryzen igpu
Why would you do that to someone you care about????
That person is going to be miserable.
it needs source images which the weak gpu will have trouble making anyway
its also too low on vram
weaker than rx 470 or gtx 1650, slightly better than gtx 1050ti
https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-rtx-2050-mobile.c3859
basically entry level gpus from 8 years ago performance
its like the laptops that came with the nvidia mx 150/250 gpus
to compare its 660m igpu, to its rtx 2050m
https://technical.city/en/video/GeForce-RTX-2050-mobile-vs-Radeon-660M
yes, better by 14%, but thats not much when you compare two turds
Laptops with GPUs below RTX 3070 / 4060 should be completely avoided.
Aside from the RTX2050 which is just all-round bad (don't even attempt to use any RTX feature with that, it won't work in any playable fashion) it only has 8GB RAM which is too little for a lot of games today.
Any performance you hope to get from that will be massively underwhelming, if the games you (or whoever gets that) are even running on it.
