Good wireless controller?
I use only official microsoft controllers and wireless receivers, they are plugged in the back of the PC.

I have used Xbox360 controllers for more than a decade on multiple PC's and different OS,s.
There is this issue with it that the wireless receiver stops working and kills all usb ports. If it's in USB 3.0 port it happens pretty often, USB 2.0 is somewhat better. I'm on my 3rd receiver, 4th PC and it still does the same thing.

I have Xbox One and Series controllers and two Xbox One receivers(the new small one). Now this has other issues like after turning on the PC or restarting it gives 'This device cannot start. (Code 10)' for the adapter.
I need to remove it and plug it back in to work. This sometimes work, sometimes the controller and receiver blinks white, the controller connects to the PC for 2 seconds and disconnects. Uninstalling device/driver results in XBOX ACC driver error sometimes.

Is there any wireless controller that's plug and play and non-steam and Steam games see it as Xbox controller for the button layout/button prompt?

Razer costs as much as 4-5 new Series X controllers?

Is 8BITDO like Ayaneo or Gpd? Zero support?
